
At last night's School Board meeting, a Promethean Board overview was given by a couple of kindergarten teachers who have been piloting the implementation of the device. The Board approved the purchase for more Promethean Boards in the district for next year.

Congratulations to Benton Community singers who competed at state contest Saturday! Benton received 12 Division 2 (Excellent) and 8 Division 1 (Excellent) ratings. In addition, Addesyn Duball, was named Outstanding Performer and will perform in Ames in April at the State Showcase! Bobcat Proud!

Congratulations to Don Logan for being honored with the prestigious Bernie Saggau Award of Merit from the Iowa High School Athletic Association (IHSAA). Don has devoted his life to making an impact and a difference for students, teachers, coaches and his community. This is a well-deserved honor!
