Publication of Information on School Buildings

Beginning on July 1, 2024, every school district must publish the following information on its website: 

  1. The square footage of each school building owned by the school district.
    - Atkins - 45,000 Sq. Feet
    - Keystone - 31,000 Sq. Feet
    - Norway - 54,400 Sq. Feet
    - MS/HS - 136,000 Sq. Feet

  2. The enrollment capacity of each attendance center owned by the school district.
    - Atkins - Estimated 456 Students
    - Keystone - Estimated 288 Students
    - Norway - Estimated 552 Students
    - MS/HS - Estimated 750 Students

  3. How each school building owned by the school district is currently utilized by the school district.
    - Atkins - Pre-Kindergarten through 3rd Grade Building
    - Keystone - Pre-Kindergarten through 3rd Grade Building
    - Norway - 4th through 6th Grade Building
    - MS/HS - 7th Grade through 12th Grade Building
    - Van Horne Elementary - Utilized for activity practices and a storage facility

  4. School buildings owned by the school district that are vacant.
    - No buildings in the district are completely vacant and not used. Van Horne Elementary does not have students attending on a daily basis but is utilized for activity practices and a storage facility.
