NEW TO THE DISTRICT?

To begin registering students who are new to the district, please follow these steps: Please Note: Procedures to enroll your students may take 2-3 school days to complete. Sometimes it may be longer due to certain circumstances. Please keep this in mind when enrolling your students.

  1. Complete the online pre registration application below and gather their immunization records for enrollment. The use of your students FULL LEGAL name is required throughout this entire process.

ONLINE PRE REGISTRATION

  1. Review — Once the online pre registration is complete the registrar will:

  • Ensure the online pre registration application is complete and approved.

  • Ensure all immunization records have been received.

  • Enroll your student in our student information system (PowerSchool)

  • You will be emailed information about your PowerSchool Parent Portal and set up information.

  • The Registrar will then request records from your child’s previous school. (if applicable)

  1. Follow the instructions that were recently emailed to you. This email included important information regarding your students' access code. Retrieve the access code and create your PowerSchool Parent Account now. Once you have created a PowerSchool Parent Account (that includes all of the student(s) in your family) go ahead and log into PowerSchool and complete the Enrollment forms and pay registration fees.

  2. After completing the enrollment process with the registrar, here is what will happen at your child’s school:

Elementary/Intermediate Students (Grades K-6)
The registrar will notify the building secretary, counselor, and principal about the new student. The building will assign the student to a classroom and call the parent/guardian with this information along with the start day for the child to begin attending. For students enrolling over the summer, teacher assignments will be released at the Back to School Night.

Middle School/High School (Grades 7-12)
Secondary students will need to meet with their school counselor to determine the appropriate class schedule before attending classes. The registrar will notify the building secretary, counselor, and principal about the new student. The school counselor will contact you for an appointment. **For students in grades 9-12 it is helpful if you bring along your unofficial transcript to this appointment. This helps the school counselor create a schedule and determine credits for graduation. (If your 9th grade student is starting at the beginning of the school year, no transcript is necessary unless the student has earned high school credits at their previous school.)
