My name is Bridget Speer and I serve as the Teacher Librarian for the district as well as working with the Talented and Gifted program. I grew up in northeast Iowa on a dairy farm and I wrote a book about dairy farming as part of my Master's research project. My name is Dawn Morris and I am the Food Service Director for Benton Community. This is my 11th school year with the district. My husband and I along with our children, Craig (20), Janelle (18) and Isaac (16) moved from the Philadelphia suburbs in 2012 and are now enjoying the peaceful, Midwest lifestyle in Van Horne.
Benton Community & Central Lutheran will be on a 2 hour delay this morning, Friday, March 10. No morning activities.
