Katie Bauder, Keystone Elementary Principal
As we embark on a new school year, I am thrilled to welcome you all back with the enthusiasm and spirit that only a true Bobcat can feel. This year, we’re focusing on what it means to have PRIDE in being a Bobcat, and how that pride shapes every aspect of our school community.
**PRIDE** is not just a word; it’s the heart of who we are as Bobcats. It’s the confidence we carry in ourselves, the respect we show to others, the integrity we uphold in our actions, the determination we display in our work, and the excellence we strive for in all that we do. These qualities define us and are woven into the fabric of our school’s culture.
In the classroom, **PRIDE** means more than just doing our best. It’s about supporting one another, celebrating our successes, and learning from our challenges. It’s about creating an environment where every student feels valued and empowered to reach their full potential.
Beyond the classroom, **PRIDE** extends to the hallways, playgrounds, and every corner of our school. One form of **PRIDE** that took place over the summer was a group of BOBCATS coming together to improve the landscape at Keystone Elementary. It’s the pride we take in our surroundings, the respect we show for our shared spaces, and the way we represent our school in the community. It’s knowing that where we learn and work is a special place, made even more extraordinary by the wonderful children and dedicated families who are part of it.
As we begin this 2024-2025 school year journey together, I want to remind you of how fortunate we all are to be part of such a supportive school community. Your children are amazing, and it’s an honor to work alongside you to help them grow, learn, and succeed.
Let’s embrace the coming year with the full spirit of Bobcat **PRIDE**. Together, we will support each other, celebrate our achievements, and make this school year one to remember.
Here’s to a fantastic year ahead!
