My favorite thing about my career is being a member of the Bobcat Family! Teaching in multiple buildings has allowed me to witness and feel the “Bobcat Family” in all areas of our vast district. The diversity of my students is another aspect I enjoy about my teaching position. Learning about my English Language Learner’s (ELL) cultures, and being able to teach everything from phonemes and graphemes to fluency and comprehension makes each day a rewarding experience! Benton Community is truly a place to belong! My students set fluency goals to reach by the end of the third quarter. Forty of my fifty-one students met or exceeded their goal! We celebrated with a pizza party.
