
To celebrate National School Breakfast Week we have arranged for a special guest. Benny the Bobcat and his handler will visit Atkins Elementary during breakfast on Wednesday, March 9th. Just a reminder that breakfast is free!


If you have a PRESCHOOL or KINDERGARTEN student who needs to register for school in the fall, please contact Kim in the office. If you know of someone who has a 3, 4, or 5-year-old ready to register, feel free to share!

As part of Respect Week activities Mrs. Sahu took a few high school students to Atkins and Keystone Elementary. They read books to them about diversity and inclusion. We would like to thank Atkins and Keystone for participating and thank their students for being a great audience.

Benton Community School District is seeking a Family and Consumer Science (FCS) teacher for the 2022-2023 school year. All applicants must apply using our online Frontline application system. This position is also on Teach Iowa online. Consideration will also be given to those interested in completing the FCS endorsement or securing a Career and Technical Education Authorization.
