Reading at least 20 minutes every day is an important skill for all learners.
Mrs. Galbraith has started the Animal Fitness Club Challenge with our students.
How does the Fitness Challenge Work? Students are encouraged to participate in 30 minutes of physical activity outside of school OR one hour of practice/games for sports teams equals one box on the log sheet. The activity should elevate the participant’s heart rate for the entire time. In addition, each club level will also have a wellness challenge that students must also complete in order to complete a level and move onto the next.
How should the exercise be recorded? Students record exercise and wellness challenges on log sheets. Students can get a log sheet at school from their PE teacher or from the office. Students should record the date of the activity as well as the activity they performed in the block. Grownups, make sure to sign the completed club forms before your student returns it.
