Twenty six first year HS FFA members attended the NE District Greenhand Fire Up today at Waverly Shell-Rock High School. Members learned about FFA opportunities, SAE possibilities, being our authentic selves, and the importance of priorities and communication.

Anna Embretson added 15 and Haiden Moore had 13. The team was 71 of 79 for serves with 10 aces. Junge was 13 of 14. Embretson was 11 of 11 with three aces. Moore was 12 of 13. Schroeder was 15 of 18 with four aces. Callan Keiper was 9 of 10 with two aces. Sadler was 11 of 13 with one ace.

On Saturday, Benton FFA members participated in the Progressive Ag Safety Day held in Vinton at the Benton County Fairgrounds. Members taught sessions on semi and tractor safety, as well as safety around animals.
