I grew up in northeast Iowa on a dairy farm and I wrote a book about dairy farming as part of my Master's research project. In my free time, I quilt, read, and enjoy spending time outdoors with my 3 children camping, biking, and gardening.

Hi! My name is Erin Van Sickle; this is my first year at Benton. I am currently the Math Interventionist at Atkins and I have loved every second of it! I have loved getting to know all the students and seeing them grow in their learning, and seeing their personalities! When I am not at Atkins, I can be found with my dog, Magnus, snuggling up and reading a new book!

For Respect Week, Hayden Bange, Emma Bange, Belle Werner, Kayla Johnson, Avary Tjelmeland, Mallary Howard, and Tegan Bishop went to Keystone Elementary and Atkins Elementary and read books to the elementary students. What a great way to build a connection across grade levels. #BeABobcat #APlaceToBelong

I am enjoying teaching my 8th year of 3 year old preschool at Atkins Elementary. I love to hang out with my dog and take walks. I grew up an Indianola Indian, but I am very thankful to have been adopted into the Bobcat family.
