The Santa Store is an annual tradition at Atkins and Keystone Elementary Schools, where the spirit of Christmas comes alive for students. This event transforms part of the school into a holiday shopping wonderland, offering a wide variety of gifts for family members. Students browse the store, carefully selecting items for their loved ones. The excitement in the air is contagious, as children giggle and whisper about their choices, thrilled at the opportunity to surprise their parents, siblings, grandparents (and even pets)!  Parents and community members volunteer through the PTO to guide the students in their shopping.

This event is about more than just picking out gifts; it’s a celebration of the joy of giving. For many students, this is their first opportunity to shop for others, and their faces light up with pride as they pick out gifts for their loved ones. The Santa Store teaches valuable lessons about thoughtfulness, generosity, and the happiness that comes from making others feel special. The experience not only spreads holiday cheer throughout the school but also reinforces the importance of kindness and love. Year after year, the Santa Store becomes a cherished memory for all involved.
