Dear Benton Bobcats,
The City of Atkins has issued an advisory to boil all water before consumption. Due to this situation, the Atkins Elementary building and specifically the food service kitchen will take precautions to keep students and staff safe until the problem is resolved.
We recommend students and staff bring a full water bottle to school tomorrow morning. All drinking fountains and bottle fill stations will be non-usable. We will have bottles of water available if needed.

Drinking Water Advisory 8/25/2023
As a precaution, The City of Atkins Water Supply is recommending to boil the water before using for drinking or to use an alternate source.
The water supply system lost pressure for a short time Friday, August 25, 2023. The system has been serviced, re-pressurized and as a precaution this advisory is issued.
