Prom Picture Order Forms: order forms for prom pictures are available in the office.
Juniors: The next prom planning meeting will be TODAY during Bobcat time.
All junior and seniors need to pick up their prom invitations and schedule TODAY in the student store during lunch.
Boys Track: Congrats to the boys track team for winning the Benton Community Parents Invite last night by 23 points! A special congratulations goes to the Sprint Medley team of Grant Franzenburg, Brice Hodnefield, Jacob Smith, and Noah Moore who broke (set) a school record last night!
Spring Academic Awards Program. The listing of students receiving an Academic Award was emailed out to all 10-12 students and is posted on the Guidance Office window. If you are not on the list and you think you should be, please contact Mrs. Venneman immediately. Letters were also mailed out to you home to let your parents know. The Academic Awards program is Thursday, March 30 at 8:15 in the gym.
NHS MEETING: There will be a National Honor Society Meeting for all members on Wednesday, March 29 during Bobcat Time in Lab 215. All members need to attend. See Mrs. Andreesen with questions.
Drivers Ed Signup: Students interested in taking driver education in May or June (2 sessions) you have been sent an email to sign up for the class. Any questions, stop and see Mr. Carlson (room 17).
Prom Reminders: No outside food and drink is allowed at Prom. Even though this year's prom theme is Mid-Knight Masquerade, masquerade is just the theme for decor. Prom is NOT a masquerade ball. Masks of any kind will NOT be permitted.
Post Prom: Doors open for post prom at 11:00 p.m. and close at 12:00 a.m, no entrance or re-admittance after 12 a.m.
The Benton Robotics team qualified for The North Super Regional. This is a HUGE honor. They will be competing against the best 72 teams from Michigan, North Dakota, Wisconsin, Ohio, Iowa, Illinois, Kentucky, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, and Indiana. We would love a huge cheering section. Please come and cheer us on this Friday and Saturday at the US Cellular Center. This is FUN Free event!!! If you would like more information see Mrs. Sahu.
HS Students: If you are not sure whether you have ordered your yearbook yet, please check the list of names posted on the yearbook board across the hall from Mrs. Schulte and Mrs. Bange's rooms. If your name is on the list, you have purchased one already. Rates go up soon, so make sure to place your order at www.jostens.com, and add your name to the list.
Attention Spanish Students past and present: If you are interested in purchasing a Spanish Club shirt this year (in honor of Harambe and designed by our very own Sophia Gilbert! ), stop by one of the Spanish teacher's rooms, check out the design, and pick up an order form. You can order short- or long- sleeved T-shirts or Crew-neck Sweatshirts. We will be taking orders through next Thursday, March 30.
Hey Bobcat Fans, do you want to have a "Bobcat Mentality" shirt like you see teams wearing in the NCAA tournament? Stop by Mr. Carlson's room, Mr. Zittergruen's room or in the office for a form. Orders are due by March 29.
Grant Wood Hearing: Grant Wood will be doing hearing screening here at the MS/HS on Thursday, April 13th. All new students will be tested, and some students with a history of known hearing loss. Students will be given a pre-signed pass the day of testing. Please direct any questions to the school nurse, ext. 359.
