Softball Meeting:
8-12 grade girls there will be a softball meeting on Monday, May 1 during Bobcat Time.

Mr. Arnold is looking for 2 students
to announce and run the clock at the May 6thHome girls soccer game. See Mr. Arnold if interested.

8-12 Grade Baseball Players - Need to pick up their fundraising cards ASAP from Coach Anderson if you have not done so already.

Students! The last day to check a book out from the IMC for this school year is Friday May 5th.  All books are due back in the IMC by Friday May 12th.

MS 7th Grade girls interested in playing basketball next year, please attend a meeting on Tuesday, May 2nd during Bobcat Time in the ICN room.  Stop by and see Coach Donald if you can't attend the meeting.

Softball apparel: The softball apparel webstore will be open from April 28- May 11. There will NOT be any paper forms all orders will be placed online at www.teamelitesports.com/benton.html

MS/HS Lost and found will be cleaned out of Friday, April 28th after school.  Please make sure to check the Lost and Found this week to claim anything before it gets donated.

The Benton Community FFA chapter invites you to our annual plant sale!  We have a wide variety of flowers and vegetables and everything is doing great!  The Ag 3 plant science class has been working really hard this year to provide our customers with high quality products. The greenhouse will be open the following days: Saturday, April 29th 9:00 to Noon, Friday, May 5th 3:00 - 6:00 PM, Saturday, May 6th 8:00 to Noon, Friday, May 12th 3:00 - 6:00 PM, Saturday, May 13th 8:00 to Noon.

Middle School Summer Camp Opportunity: Benton Theatre Rising Stars will offer a summer theatre camp for kids this June. Our directors and high school leaders will be sharing their love of theatre with students in grades K-8 to present From Page to Stage, an original production based on classic children's books and songs. The show includes a variety of theatrical conventions such as blacklight, puppetry, shadow plays, rap, and more. Students will expand their acting experience while building confidence and having a great time on stage. Every student gains the benefits of camp workshops and activities, and every student performs in the final show. Join us June 12th - 23rd from 9:00am - 12:00pm. Statewide Youth Broadband Advisory Council: Iowa Communications Network is accepting student applications for its Statewide Youth Broadband Advisory Council (SYBAC) for the 2017-2018 school year.  SYBAC engages high school students on a variety of broadband related topics, where they identify trends and strategies to improve broadband connectivity. This year's SYBAC students have discussed a range of topics including: the Internet of Things (IoT), expanding broadband availability in rural areas, wireless access, infrastructure, and cybersecurity. Application Deadline is May 5th. Please log-on to https://icn.iowa.gov/sybac to additional information.
